Laozi’s life

As a great man, Laozi was born before another great man “Kongzi” in Chinese history. In addition, his first name was Er and his family name was Li. And he was a man from the state of Chu. However, nobady knows when Laozi died. It is said that after Laozi helping a gate keeper to write about 5,000 words on “dao” and “de”, he left and no one knew where he went. So no one knows the date of death of Laozi.

 As is known to all, almost every personage has his or her own books. So did Laozi, a famous and great thinker in Chinese ancient times. And do you know what Laozi’ s book was? I tell you that Dao De Jing was his book. Actually, in English Dao De Jing is Taoist Teachings of Laozi. Like the name, we know that the book primalrily discuss the Dao and De, which are profound philosophic theory. In Laozi’s opinion, Dao gives birth to the universe and makes all the things in the universe. It is so abstract that many people can not understand it .

Confucius’s Political ideas

It is widely known to all that there were some principles of fedual moral conduct known as “the three cardinal guides” and “the five constant virtues”. In fact, this was Confucius’s ideas. In addition, “Ren” was the core of the Confucian thoughts. It is also called “Benevolence”. Actually, “Ren” was loving his people and devotion to his parents and loyalty to his country. In fact, “Ren” was in effect the spirit of “Harmony”. So Confucius was really a great man.

In fact, Confucius was the famous thinker and educator of the Spring and Autumn Period. When I was in senior grade, I was respecct of him very much.

Ambition

Everyone of us must have a ambition, no matter it is big or small. And it is not difficult to imagine a world which is short of ambitions. And you will know that how unrelieved boring life would be, if it is really without ambitions. As is known to all of us, we do not choose to be born. We do not choose our parents. But within all this realm of choicelessness, we do choose how we shall live. So we really need a ambition to make great efforts.

When I was in junior school, I learned many classical sayings. They go like that know what we really understand and admit what we do not know, learn and constantly review what you learned and learn the new by restudying the old. These are all famous ideas. And in fact, they were from our great thinker Confucius. What is more, Confucius still suggested that students should be taught in accordance with their apititude. Thereout, Confucius was really a outstanding educator.

Just for today

Usually, when we have something which is not finished, we will put off it to tomorrow. But tomorrow it will has another thing. So we should try our best to do something just for today. Just for today we should adjust ourselves to what is, and not try to adjust everything to our own desires. We should take our “luck” as it comes. Just for today we should have a program, we may not follow it exactly, but we should have it. We should save ourselves from two pests: hurry and indecision. So we should be aware of that today is very important. We really should live it well.

The boring day

Usually, when I am at school, I will except to go home, but when I stay at home, I will want to go school. At mant times, when I stay at one place too long, I will feel bored, especially when the place is vapidity in itself. Since I went back home from school, I just stay at home watching TV all the day. I find that the TV is very boring and the life is more boring. Everyday my parents go to work leaving myself at home. Sometimes I really miss the daylife with my classmates at school.

The sisters

During these days, I am watching a TV drama program. It tells the story between two sisters. In fact, they are not real sisters. But only the younger sister knows the truth. So the older sister treat the younger sister very well, but the younger sister frame her surreptitiously in turn. She makes her sister miscarry and then make her sister have to divorce. When I watch the program, I hate the younger sister very much. And I know that like many TV drama progams’ ending, the younger sister finally will have a miserable ending.
